How to get involved:

Nominating Committee Overview:

Our Association maintains a dedicated Nominating Committee responsible for Director Elections. Comprising 8 members, with 2 representatives from each of the four areas, the committee ensures that diverse perspectives are included in our governance. Members are elected annually, with the candidate receiving the highest votes becoming the regular member and the second-highest serving as the alternate. Nominating Committee Members serve a term of 1 year and may only serve 2 consecutive terms. Their primary responsibility is to identify potential Director and Nominating Committee candidates from our stockholder list. They will reach out to these candidates, determine their interest in candidacy, and include them in the Annual Meeting Information Statement. Our General Counsel, who serves as our Standards of Conduct Officer, collaborates with the Nominating Committee, providing guidance and ensuring the integrity of the nomination process.

Responsibilities of Directors:

Board members play a vital role in our Association's success, serving 3-year terms and attending several meetings throughout the year. They help shape our strategic direction and ensure adherence to our mission of integrity and dedication to our members.

Nomination Process:

The Nominating Committee actively seeks candidates from our stockholders, ensuring a transparent and thorough process. Interested members are encouraged to submit their bios and relevant experience for consideration. The committee carefully reviews all submissions and announces nominees during the Annual Stockholder Meeting.

Floor Nominations:

Our Association allows for floor nominations for stockholder-elected director positions during the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting. This process ensures that all members have the opportunity to participate actively in our leadership selection.
